Art Journal pages have become a favorite past time for me. Somewhat therapeutic as well. Here is one I worked on over several days. It isn't finished yet because I want to put words on it but I am not sure what yet, and so it sits.
I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I do.
OMG, it is beautiful. I love the colors! There is so much to see. Are the leaves done with the ghosting technique? Did you use your Signa pen for the fairy dust. I need the details of how you did this!!!! Sooooo pretty.
ReplyDeleteI used Dylusions ink on white mixed media paper (no water) and let it sit on the paper and soak in really well. When it was dry I did the stamping using "Further Around The Edge" by Dylusions and various other stamps I purchased from the local craft stores. Then I used my waterbrush to take out color in the areas of the leaves, Fairies wings,skirts and the owl. I then used my Unibal Signo white pen to accent some of the images.
ReplyDeleteI love it! You could either write "Playful Fairies", like your blog title or you could put "Pixie Dust" Or "Magic!" Something simple like that.
